5. Favorite Scripture... John 14: 1-7 "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father's house there are many dwelling-places. And if I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to Myself, so that where I am, there you may be also. And you know the way to the place where I am going." Thomas said to Him, "Lord, we do not where You are going. How can we know the way?" Jesus said to him, "I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. If you know Me, you will know My Father also. From now on you do know Him and have seen Him."
6. Favorite Childhood Memory... My Dad was taking my brother and sister somewhere for the day (I have no idea where or what for) and so I got to spend the whole day with my Mom. I remember that I thought it was a real treat having her to myself. Mom took me the video store, and let me pick out as many movies as I wanted. I also remember chasing my Dad's truck down the driveway as he came home from work each day.
7. Famous Folks Hanging Out In My Family Tree... Richard Furman (one of the founders of the Southern Baptists), Clark of Lewis & Clark, the Boleyns.
8. Hobbies... reading, writing, gardening.
9. Favorite Sports Teams... Dallas Stars!
10. Top 5 Books... the Bible. And how 'bout top 5 authors? CS Lewis, Jane Austen, CS Forrester, Jan Karon, JRR Tolkien.
11. Top 5 Movies...The Importance of Being Ernest, Pride & Prejudice, The Lord of the Rings, An Ideal Husband, Garfield.
12. Top 5 TV Shows... LOST, Frasier, The Vicar of Dibley, Veggie Tales, Horatio Hornblower.
13. Top 5 Songs... anything ever sung by Rebecca St. James or the Veggie Tales.
14. Pets... I have two pound puppies: Pepper (corgi/dalmation) & Dobie (terrier mix- probably a lurcher)

17. Favorite Flora... Right now it's delphiniums.

19. If I Could Anywhere In The World... I'd go to my ancestral homes of Barbados and Belize ;)
20. Bet you don't know that I... am a seventh generation Texan, and my great-great grandfather Sam Furman came to Texas on a banana boat from Belize!

6. Favorite Childhood Memories... (1) My grandpa Hanson, who lived with us when I was little, would walk me down the road to a little country store and by me candy and gum. (2) My mother worked part-time at a laundry and I remember my first Dr. Pepper.
7. Most Cherished Possessions ... Husband, 3 kids and 7 grandkids.
8. Hobbies... flower gardening; crocheting; reading; camping.
9. Favorite Sports Teams... Dallas Cowboys; Texas Rangers.
10. Favorite Books... "The Bible"; "A Girl of the Limberlost"; "Little Women"; "Little Men"; all of the "Mitford" books by Jan Karon.
11. Favorite Movies or Plays... "Gone with the Wind"; "The Wizard of Oz"; "Robin Hood" (Kevin Kostner); "The Ten Commandments" (Charlton Heston); "The Sound of Music"; "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers"; "Oklahoma"; "Big River".
